The business was formerly a franchise, but the owner went independent, reduced royalty fees, and expanded the footprint.

The Selling Process

After more than a decade in the cartridge business, the owner decided to explore new career options, and hired VR Business Brokers to conduct a confidential sale. VR took the opportunity to strategic and financial buyers confidentially through a rigorous buyer screening and marketing process, and found the perfect acquirer. The purchaser relocated from Arkansas where he ran a similar business. He was also seeking a change of pace from the small town he left, and more opportunity. The buyer was attracted to both the business and the growing opportunity that the Triangle market represents.
