VR BUSINESS BROKERS
Case Study: Children's Entertainment Facility
VR Business Brokers is honored to assist another set of entrepreneurs with the sale of a privately held children’s activity center in the Triangle market. This sale included coordinating principals on three continents and the coordination of multiple stakeholders.
The Selling Process
The owner of this business decided to sell her children’s activity center due a need spend time with family on another continent. Although her company was profitable and she’d built a great team, her time and attention was best spent supporting a child who needed her far away. After two failed attempts to complete the transaction, she enlisted Rory McDermott to act as seller representation. Immediately he produced top notch marketing materials. Upon her approved, Rory distributed them internationally, and garnered dozens of interested parties. Ultimately, he isolated a financially qualified buyer group based in the United Arab Emeritus with family in the Triangle market.
Rory guided the buyer and seller through a complex lease and franchise assignment to remove the obligations from the seller and empower the buyer with the opportunity to run run the business.
Congratulations to both parties for this successful transaction, and special thanks to attorney Peter Hanna at Hopler, Wilms, & Hanna PLLC transaction and escrow services.
